Church St House

Church St House spreads across four levels in Widcombe, with the centre of Bath less than a mile to the north. It sleeps eight. The ground floor holds a lounge and a separate dining room, both with feature fireplaces and shuttered windows. On the lower ground floor are the oak kitchen and a utility room, and a few steps lead from the kitchen down into an open-plan lounge/diner with exposed beams, a coal-effect gas fire and a second TV.

Four bedrooms sit on the first and second floors: a king-size with a corner wet room, a bunk bedroom suitable for children, a double with its own corner wet room, and a twin that can be made up as a super-king on request. A shower room on the lower ground floor and a bathroom with a deep bath complete the four bathrooms. The house has underfloor heating.

French doors from the main living room open onto a large walled garden with a patio, outdoor furniture and an astroturf lawn. The kitchen has a dishwasher, and the utility room has a washing machine and dryer.

Two dogs are allowed, with additional charges possible. Parking is limited to one permit for the street. Pubs, restaurants and shops are within 0.5 miles.

It suits a family or two couples who want a house with a garden and room for the dogs.
