Ascension Bungalow

Eight guests fit into Ascension Bungalow, which has four bedrooms (a twin and three with double or king-size beds) and two shower rooms, both with walk-in showers, heated towel rails and WCs. It stands 1.5 miles from Bath, with Moorland Road 400 metres away for cafes, restaurants and shops, and the Two Tunnels Cycle Path half a mile off.

The lounge has an open fireplace, with logs kept in a log shed outdoors that also supplies the fire pit, plus comfortable sofas, a TV and a reading corner. The open-plan kitchen and dining area has an oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and a dining table. Wi-Fi is available.

A garden wraps around the bungalow. It is enclosed, with outdoor furniture, a fire pit, several patio seating areas, flower beds with two garden ponds, and a summer house with games. The garden has several places to sit and eat outside. Children need supervision around the ponds.

Private off-road parking takes four cars, and pubs, shops and restaurants are within 0.5 miles. It suits a family gathering or two couples travelling together. The Roman Baths, Georgian architecture and boutique shopping are in nearby Bath. Dogs are not allowed, arrival is from 4pm and departure is before 10am.
