23 Daniel Street is a four-storey townhouse in a row of Georgian houses in Bath, with sash windows and period fireplaces. Guests share it across four bedrooms: a king-size and a twin on the first floor, and two doubles on the second.

The sitting room is big enough for a group of eight, with a large TV and plenty of seating. A short flight of steps leads down to the kitchen/diner, which has a double electric oven, a gas hob, a microwave, a fridge/freezer and a dishwasher. There is a utility room with a washer/dryer, and a conservatory. Outside is an enclosed courtyard with shrubs. The two shower rooms, one on the ground floor and one on the second, both have walk-in showers. Gas central heating, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included, and WiFi is provided.

Parking needs thought. The streets around the house are for resident permit holders only, so after unloading at the door you will need to find a nearby car park. One well-behaved pet is welcome. Smoking is not allowed, and stag, hen or similar parties are not accepted. A good housekeeping bond is payable. A shop is 0.2 miles away and a pub 0.1 miles.

Best for eight friends or a large family who can manage without parking at the door and do not mind several flights of stairs.
