Cedar House

Cedar House is a semi-detached house on the edge of Old Cleeve, near Washford and within 7 miles of Minehead, with Blue Anchor and its beach 1 mile away. It sits in 1.5 acres. The owners have a separate wing, and other holiday cottages stand in the grounds, so the gardens are shared. The house looks out to the West Somerset Steam Railway.

The ground floor has a covered porch, an entrance hall, a sitting room, a TV lounge with a Smart TV, and a dining room with a table that seats ten. The kitchen has a Rangemaster with a gas hob and electric ovens, a microwave, a large fridge, a large freezer, a dishwasher and a washing machine.

Upstairs are five bedrooms, each with a TV: a super-king-size, two king-size, a twin zip-and-link that can be made up as a super-king-size on request, and a bunk room. Every bedroom has an en-suite, three with a shower over the bath and two with a shower. The super-king-size room and one king-size room look to Exmoor, while the other king-size room and the twin zip-and-link room have sea views. A travel cot and a highchair are available.

Up to three dogs are welcome, with additional charges, and the garden has a private enclosed area for them with a picnic bench. Parking is ample. The pub and the beach are 1 mile away and the shops 3 miles. Cedar House suits two or three families or a group of friends travelling together, up to ten people. Arrival is from 16:00 and departure is before 10:00.
