3 Elm Cottage

3 Elm Cottage is a white-washed terrace in the centre of Carhampton, a village that sits near Dunster with Exmoor rising almost from the back door. Three bedrooms upstairs hold six: a double with an en-suite shower room, a king-size, and a second double that uses the shared shower room.

On the ground floor, the kitchen/diner has an electric oven, a gas hob, a microwave, a fridge/freezer, a washer/dryer, a dishwasher and a wooden breakfast bar. The sitting room has a sofa, two chairs and a chaise longue around a woodburning stove, and the kitchen and sitting room tables fit together to seat six. There are two TVs, a DVD player, WiFi and a bookshelf. Heating is oil-fired central heating, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included.

At the back, the multi-level garden has decking, gravel and lawn areas, furniture and a fire pit. There is a designated parking space for one car, with roadside parking on a first-come basis, and a secure storage area for bikes. Carhampton has a pub, a shop and a post office. Blue Anchor beach is a two-mile walk across the fields.

A travel cot and highchair are available. No pets and no smoking, and the minimum stay is 2 nights. It suits a group of friends or a family of up to six who want a village base for walking.
