Bath International Music Festival fills the city with concerts in late spring. The 2026 festival ran for nine days, from Saturday 30 May to Sunday 7 June. The 2027 dates are not out yet.
What to expect
The festival is run by Bath Festivals, a charity founded in 1948. The same charity organises the Bath Literature Festival and the Bath Children’s Literature Festival, so the city has a run of book and music events through the year. The music festival began as the Bath Assembly in 1948, and Yehudi Menuhin was its artistic director from 1959 to 1968. Its programme has covered orchestral, chamber and classical music, jazz, folk, electronica and world music.
Tickets are sold through Bath Box Office.
