Wagtails Barn

Wagtails Barn is a detached barn on the owners' working sheep farm, between Winford and Chew Magna near Bristol and a drive from Bishop Sutton. It sleeps four. A private entrance leads in from a narrow country lane.

The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a fridge-freezer, a microwave and a dishwasher. Next to it, the utility room holds the washing machine and a separate WC. The open-plan lounge and dining room has a wood burner with the first basket of logs included, a TV and French doors out to the garden. Upstairs are two bedrooms, a double with views over the countryside and a twin, and a bathroom with a shower over the bath and a WC.

The enclosed garden has a charcoal BBQ, garden furniture, a patio and a lawn. It looks out to countryside and to a listed aqueduct, built in 1847, which crosses one of the fields. A Wendy house is there for children and also stores bikes. Parking is ample.

The pub is a mile away and the shops are two miles away. Bristol airport is three miles away. No pets of any kind are allowed, including dogs. Arrival is from 17:00 and departure is before 10:00.

It suits a family with young children, or two friends, who want a working farm setting and do not need a pet-friendly stay.
