Ed's Barn is a detached barn conversion on a country lane at Dundry, a village near Bristol and near Bishop Sutton. The lane brings some traffic noise, and the village pub is under half a mile away. Bristol airport is five miles off. Bath, Wells and Cheddar Gorge are further afield.
The ground floor has an open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining room with a TV/DVD. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a fridge/freezer, a microwave and a dishwasher. The twin bedroom is also downstairs, with an en-suite WC and patio doors to the garden. Upstairs, the double bedroom is built into the eaves, so mind the low sloping ceiling. It has an en-suite shower and WC. Wi-Fi is available.
The garden is enclosed and has a patio, outdoor furniture and a barbecue. Behind the barn is off-road parking for two cars, and a path leads round to the front door. Up to two dogs are allowed, and additional charges may apply. The shop is two miles away. Arrival is from 14:30 and departure before 10:00.
The barn suits two couples, or a couple with a dog or two, who want a village base a short drive from Bristol, with its museums, theatre, aquarium and zoo.
