Goat Barn

Goat Barn is a modern barn conversion with a wood-clad exterior in Hinton Blewett, a village on the fringe of the Mendip Hills and near Bishop Sutton. Bath, Wells and Bristol are all within 13 miles, and Cheddar Gorge is 12 miles away. The village pub is half a mile away, the shop two miles and the beach 20 miles.

From a hallway where boots can be left, the layout runs into an open-plan lounge, kitchen and diner with a Smart TV and a round dining table. The kitchen has an electric oven, an induction hob, a fridge with a freezer compartment, a slimline dishwasher, a microwave and a coffee machine. A king-size bedroom and a twin both open off the hallway and share a Jack and Jill shower room with a walk-in rainfall shower and WC. There is also a separate WC.

Bi-fold doors from the living space lead out to the garden, which has a lawn and a patio with outdoor furniture and a charcoal barbecue. Private parking takes two cars. Two dogs are allowed, and additional charges may apply. Arrival is from 16:00 and departure before 10:00.

It suits two couples who walk with dogs, or a small family, who want a modern two-bedroom barn with room for two cars. Both bedrooms share the one shower room.
