Twinway Farm - The Stable

Four guests fit in The Stable, a barn conversion with everything on one level. One bedroom has a king-size bed and the other is a bunk bedroom, and a single shower room with a shower and WC serves both. The barn stands in the heart of the owners' working farm at Stanton Drew, near Bishop Sutton, a village known for its prehistoric stone circles.

The lounge, kitchen and dining area share one open-plan room with high ceilings, exposed beams and far-reaching countryside views. Cooking is on an electric hob and oven, with a fridge that has an ice compartment, a microwave and a dishwasher. The washing machine and tumble dryer are in a shared utility room. The lounge has a Smart TV, each bedroom has a TV, and the underfloor heating and Wi-Fi are included.

At the front is a courtyard patio with garden furniture and a charcoal barbecue. Cars go in an off-road parking area close to the barn. A pub is within walking distance and the shops are two miles away, while the Mendip Hills to the south have walks that start from the doorstep.

It suits a couple with two children who are happy to share a bunk room, and who are leaving the dog at home. No dogs are allowed. Arrival is from 15:00 and departure is before 10:00.
