Toad Cottage

Toad Cottage is in Kewstoke, near Weston-super-Mare, and stands in nearly an acre of private grounds. Everything is on one level. A glass porch leads into a dual-aspect lounge and dining area with a TV and DVD player and an electric fire that looks like a wood burner.

The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a fridge-freezer, a dishwasher and a washer-dryer. The king-size bedroom has a TV and sits beside the main bathroom, which has a shower over the bath and a WC. The twin bedroom has a flatscreen TV and its own en-suite shower room with a WC.

At the front are a lawn, a wild flower meadow and an enclosed wildlife pond with seating around it, plus a patio with garden furniture, a hammock and a charcoal barbecue. A small enclosed patio at the back has seating and a pull-out clothes drier. Parking is off-road, directly outside.

Two dogs are allowed, and additional charges may apply. Sand Bay beach is 1 mile away, and the pub and shop are within 1 mile. Electricity, Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels are included. Arrival is from 15:30 and departure before 10:00. It suits a family or two couples with dogs who want a single-level layout and room to walk.
