Pier View

Pier View is a duplex apartment on the first and second floors of a building on the seafront in Weston-super-Mare. The windows look across to Birnbeck Pier, Brean Down, Steep Holm and Flat Holm, and the decked terrace, with a table and chairs, has views of the Bristol Channel.

It sleeps 4 across two bedrooms. The king-size bedroom is on the second floor, up a narrow original staircase, and has an en-suite shower room and a walk-in wardrobe. The twin is on the first floor next to a second shower room. The open-plan living room, kitchen and dining area is reached by several stairs, and the kitchen has a gas hob, an electric oven, a dishwasher and a washing machine, with a utility cupboard housing the washer and an ironing board.

Parking is off-road for one car, with a second car only by prior arrangement, and the drive is tight. External steps lead up to the front door and there are stairs inside, so the flat may not suit people with limited mobility or families with babies or young children. Check-in is on a Friday, short breaks must be at least 3 days and cannot span a Friday, and the owner needs at least 3 days' notice before a booking. Pets, smoking and vaping are not allowed, and government or similar bookings are not accepted. Fuel and power, bed linen, towels and extras such as tea towels and oven gloves are included in the rent.

A shop is 0.2 miles away and a pub 0.15 miles. It suits a couple or two couples who want a sea view and are comfortable with stairs.
