Orchard Leigh

Orchard Leigh sits in the town of North Petherton and is laid out on a single storey, with all four bedrooms on the ground floor and a gym room down in the basement. It sleeps eight. The sitting area is open plan with bi-fold doors, and there is a kitchen/diner as well.

The sitting room has a woodburning stove, and the fuel, power and a starter pack are included in the rent, as are bed linen and towels. If you want the futon made up, linen has to be requested in advance. Gas central heating covers the rest of the house, and there are three Smart TVs, a further TV with Freeview, and WiFi. The kitchen has an oven, hob, microwave, fridge and dishwasher.

The super-king-size bedroom has a Smart TV and a freestanding bath, and the double has its own en-suite walk-in shower. Of the other two rooms, one holds a single bed and a futon, the other a set of bunks. A separate ground-floor shower room makes two bathrooms in all.

Outside, an enclosed garden has a patio with furniture and a hot tub. The tub is emptied and cleaned after every changeover, so it may not be at full temperature on the day you arrive. Off-road parking takes four cars. A shop and a pub are each 0.2 miles away. Pets are not allowed and the house is non-smoking. A minimum of three nights applies, and a Good Housekeeping bond is payable.

It suits a family or two couples who want everyone on one floor, a hot tub and room for several cars.
