Herschel Place

Herschel Place is a ground-floor apartment in Bath for two, among Georgian stone terraces, and the outdoor space comes first: an enclosed courtyard with outdoor furniture, and a private terrace for eating outside. Parking is private, for one car.

Indoors there is one bedroom, with a king-size bed, and an open-plan lounge, kitchen and diner with a sash window and shutters. The sofa converts to a bed for one more guest at no charge, although the booking is for two people. The kitchen has an electric oven, gas hob, fridge, freezer, microwave, dishwasher and a washer/dryer. The bathroom has a shower over the bath and a WC, and there is a Smart TV, a welcome pack and Wi-Fi.

Boutiques, delis, cafes and restaurants are on the doorstep. The shop is under half a mile away and the pub is half a mile. Walking, the Holburne Museum is under half a mile, Parade Gardens, with deckchairs to sit in, half a mile and Bath Abbey just under a mile. Bristol can be reached within 22 miles.

It suits a couple who want a quiet ground-floor base and are happy to walk into the centre. Dogs are not allowed, arrival is from 4pm and departure is before 10am.
