Gatehouse

Gatehouse is a holiday home for two, made from a restored World War II checkpoint building, in the village of Freshford, less than five miles from Bath. It sits on a working farm. The village has a pub, a cafe and a railway station, and the River Frome and the Limpley Stoke Valley are nearby for walks.

The open-plan living, dining and kitchen area has a 46-inch Smart TV and a log burner, with the first basket of logs supplied. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a fridge-freezer, a dishwasher and a coffee machine, and a washer/dryer is in a utility cupboard. The single bedroom has a king-size bed. The shower room has a shower, a WC and a skylight. Dyson fans, hairdryers and a vacuum are available, and internet access is included.

Outside is a garden and patio with seating, a barbecue and a pizza oven, and there is a bike shed. Parking for two cars is private, and an EV charger is available. A pub and a shop are 0.5 miles away.

One dog is welcome, and additional charges may apply. Because this is a working farm, dogs must be kept on a lead at all times.
