Herschel Heights

Herschel Heights is on the third floor of a building in Bath, set beneath the eaves, so the open-plan lounge, kitchen and diner has a sloping ceiling and a sash window looking across the rooftops. There are two bedrooms, a king-size and a single, and the apartment sleeps three. The king-size has city views of its own, and the single looks along the Georgian terraces of Bathwick Street.

Cooking is covered by an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge, freezer and dishwasher, and a utility cupboard holds a washer/dryer. The one family bathroom has a shower over the bath and a WC. You also get a TV, a welcome pack and Wi-Fi. There is no garden.

Private parking for one car goes with the apartment. On foot, the shop is half a mile away and the pub is nearer than that. The Circus is half a mile off, the Holburne Museum under half a mile, Bath Abbey in the city centre under a mile, the Royal Crescent 1.5 miles and Prior Park Gardens, a National Trust garden, 2 miles. It suits a couple, or a couple with one more, who want a car space and a walk to the sights. Dogs are not allowed, arrival is from 4pm and departure is before 10am.
