Harbour View Cottage

Harbour View Cottage is a red stone terraced house in a row that was once the coastguard station, built in 1898, overlooking the harbour at Watchet. It stands down a private lane, with shops, pubs and restaurants five minutes away on foot and the harbour two minutes away.

The sitting room looks across the harbour and marina and opens onto a lawned garden with furniture. Upstairs are two bedrooms, and one has views across the Bristol Channel towards Wales. The single bathroom is on the same floor, and downstairs there is a utility room and a separate WC.

The cottage sleeps 4. Heating is gas central heating with a gas fire and a wood burner, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included in the rent. The kitchen has an electric oven and gas hob, a microwave, a tall fridge/freezer, a dishwasher and a washing machine, and there is a TV with Freeview, a DVD player and WiFi. Off-road parking takes 2 cars.

Pets are not allowed and the house is non-smoking. Children are subject to an age restriction, so confirm it with the owner before you book. A good housekeeping bond is payable, and check-in is from 4:30pm with check-out by 10am.

It suits a couple, or two couples travelling together, who want a harbour outlook and a garden and have no dog.
