Furrow Lodge

Furrow Lodge is a detached lodge in Babcary, near Somerton, with a hot tub on its decked rear veranda. The extra charge for the hot tub is paid direct to the owner. The veranda also has a garden table, chairs and sun loungers, and a lawn wraps around the lodge.

Inside, the lounge, kitchen and dining space share one room, with a Smart TV and sofas that have USB ports. The kitchen has an electric hob and oven, a microwave, a fridge with an ice compartment, a dishwasher and a Lor coffee machine, and a utility cupboard holds the washing machine. The king-size bedroom has French doors to the veranda and a Smart TV, and its bed can be made up as a twin if you ask when booking. The second bed space is a twin on a mezzanine, reached by a ladder-style staircase from the master bedroom. That staircase is not enclosed, so take care with young children.

The bathroom has a bath, a separate shower and a WC. A travel cot and highchair are available on request, and secure bike storage can be arranged. Private parking for 2 cars is at the front. Barbecues are strictly not allowed and dogs are not allowed.

Shops are 4 miles away and the pub just under a mile. The lodge sleeps four, so it suits a couple who want a hot tub, or a family with children old enough to manage the ladder staircase.
