Celia's View

Celia's View is a recently renovated house on a country lane in Aller, 2.6 miles from Langport. It sits in an elevated position with views across the Somerset Levels. Behind the house a hill rises to the Aller and Beer Wood Nature Reserve.

Living space is open-plan, combining the kitchen, a dining table and a sitting area with an electric fire, and the house is warmed by electric central heating. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a dishwasher and a washing machine. The TV carries BBC iPlayer, ITVX and Netflix, with an account required, and WiFi is available.

The three bedrooms are on the first floor: two doubles and a single, for five guests in all. One bathroom has a bath with a shower over it. There are enclosed gardens at the front and the rear, with seating, and parking off the road for two cars.

The hillside setting means a number of steps lead up to the house, so it is not recommended for people with mobility issues. The nearest pub is 0.1 miles away and the shop 2.5 miles. Two well-behaved pets are welcome, there is no smoking, and a good housekeeping bond is payable.

It suits a family of up to five who want a pub on the doorstep and are happy with steps.
