The Love Shack - Somerset

The Love Shack is a cottage in Coleford, near Frome, with Camerton nearby. A shop is 0.2 miles away, and the pub and restaurants are a mile off. The cottage opens through a stable door into the kitchen.

The kitchen has an electric range oven, an induction hob, a double fridge/freezer, a microwave and a dishwasher, and a utility cupboard under the stairs holds a washing machine and a tumble dryer. It links to an open-plan living and dining room with a large wood burner, a 55-inch Smart TV with a full Sky package and a Sonos Bluetooth speaker. Fibre broadband and USB sockets are fitted throughout.

Upstairs are two king-size bedrooms and the bathroom, which has a slipper roll-top bath, a separate shower and a WC. Both bedrooms have storage space. A welcome pack is provided, and a travel cot and highchair can be requested.

The enclosed garden has a gravelled patio with a dining table and chairs, a lawn, a campfire and BBQ grill and an outdoor hose or doggy shower. The wood-burning hot tub is heated before arrival, and seasoned wood for the fire pit, the wood burner and the hot tub is supplied at no charge. Parking is private, for two cars. The owner charges a daily fee for car charging, on an honesty basis.

Up to five dogs are allowed, with additional charges. Confirm the pet policy when booking. Check-in is from 14:30, and the owner allows an 11am departure. It suits a couple, or two couples, who bring dogs and want a hot tub.
