Muskoka Lodge
Wing of owner's home for 6, two en-suite twins, garden
Muskoka Lodge is a wing of the owner's own home on the outskirts of Midsomer Norton, a small Somerset town on the eastern edge of the Mendip Hills, and close to Camerton. The shop is a 5-minute walk and the pub a 7-minute walk.
The lodge is on two floors. Upstairs are two twin bedrooms with an en-suite shower room each and views over the garden to the Mendip Hills. Downstairs is a shower room, and an open-plan living area with a kitchen, a large dining table and a sitting area with a sofa bed. It sleeps six. Gas central heating, fuel and power are included.
The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a fridge and a washer/dryer. There is a TV with Freeview, a DVD player, WiFi, and a selection of books, games and DVDs. Bed linen is provided, but towels are not.
French doors open onto an enclosed lawned garden with furniture. Off-road parking takes 2 cars. The lodge is on the edge of a B road, so some traffic noise can be heard at rush hour. Pets and smoking are not allowed, stag, hen and similar groups are not accepted, and worker bookings are declined.
It suits a family or two couples who want en-suite twin rooms and a base within reach of Bath, Bristol and Wells.
