The Hideaway At Henley Hill Farm

The Hideaway is an annexe on Henley Hill Farm at Haybridge, near Wells, reached along a private drive. Wookey is not far away. The farm runs to 70 acres of pasture grazed by sheep and horses, with wildlife meadows, apple orchards and free-range chickens that guests are welcome to wander. The accommodation sits on a single level.

The lounge and dining area has a sofa and a Smart TV, with doors out to the terrace. The kitchen has an electric hob and oven, a microwave and a fridge, with everything needed for cooking in. The bedroom has a double bed and the shower room is en-suite, with a WC.

The terrace is small and private, with a table and chairs, which gives a good degree of privacy. Parking is private, for one car. Shops and pubs are 2 miles away. A travel cot and a highchair are available, which suits a couple with a baby.

One extra can be arranged with the owner: a guided badger watch on the farm, which depends on the badgers being in residence. Dogs are not allowed here. Arrival is from 15:00 and departure is before 10:00.

It suits a couple, or a couple with one baby, who want a self-contained base on a working farm and are travelling without a dog.
