Millbarn

Millbarn is a converted barn in Crowcombe, sleeping up to 14 across seven bedrooms on three floors. The open-plan living space keeps its original barn beams. A lobby leads to a kitchen/diner and a separate utility room, which holds the washing machine.

The sitting room is built around a woodburning stove and has two corner sofas and two more sofas, with a mezzanine above and a separate snug. The lower ground floor has three doubles, the upper-ground floor two more, and the first floor has another double, a double with an extra bed, and two bunk rooms. Several doubles are zip/link beds that can be made up as twins on request.

Two bathrooms serve the house: a family bathroom with a freestanding bath and a walk-in shower, and a lower-ground shower room, plus a cloakroom. Fuel and power, bed linen and towels are included. WiFi, Sky channels and a TV are provided.

Outside is an enclosed rear garden with a patio, furniture and a lawn, and ample private parking. Up to three well-behaved dogs are welcome. Smoking is not allowed, and a good-housekeeping bond is payable. The pub is 1 mile away and the shop 2.9 miles. It suits a large family gathering or two groups travelling together.
