Kibbear Farmhouse

Kibbear Farmhouse is a seven-bedroom house in Trull, a village near Taunton, and sleeps 14. The kitchen/diner has an electric range oven and hob, a microwave, a fridge/freezer, a dishwasher and a wood burner. Two lounges, both with TVs, seat all 14, and one has a wood burner and a DVD player. A utility room holds a washing machine, a tumble dryer and a second fridge/freezer.

The games area is private to your party and open from 10am to 10pm each day. It has an antique skittle alley, a full-size snooker table, a seating area and a third wood burner. Logs can be bought if you ask beforehand. Outside, the heated indoor swimming pool is shared, and the garden is large and enclosed, with a lawn, furniture, a BBQ and a private hot tub. A children's play area has a swing, a slide and a climbing frame.

The first floor is split level and reached by two separate staircases. One wing holds five bedrooms: two twins and three kings, one of them en-suite. The other wing has a king-size and a double, both en-suite. The wing with five bedrooms also has a bathroom with a shower attachment over the bath, a separate shower, a WC, and two shower rooms. The age of the house means cottage-style stairs, low and uneven door frames and steps between most rooms and levels.

Parking off the road is ample, and EV charging on site is chargeable. CCTV runs around the clock for security. No smoking is allowed, and no stag or hen parties. A pub and shop are within walking distance and the beach is 20 miles away. One dog is allowed, with extra charges possible. Arrival is from 16:30 and departure before 10:00. It suits a large family or a group of friends who want a pool and games on site.
