Badgers Rake

Badgers Rake is a thatched, L-shaped semi-detached cottage in Woolston, near Williton and the Quantock Hills, a short way from Bicknoller. It sleeps eleven, with a two-storey annexe attached to the main house. Shops and pubs are two miles away and the beach is seven miles.

The main house has five bedrooms upstairs: a super-king-size with a sink and a balcony over the garden, two doubles with sinks, a twin and a single. The single room can also be used for a travel cot. One travel cot and two highchairs are available on request. The family bathroom has a shower over the bath, and there is a separate WC. Downstairs are a lounge with a Smart TV, a dining room, a galley kitchen with an American fridge-freezer and a dishwasher, and a utility room with a washing machine and a WC.

The annexe has its own front door. It has a lounge and dining room with an Aga, a kitchen with a dishwasher, and upstairs a king-size bedroom and a bathroom with a shower attachment. It is heated by electric heaters, and has its own Smart TV. The only internal link to the main house is a door from the landing into one of the main house's double bedrooms.

The main garden is large, enclosed and has a seating area. The annexe has its own fenced garden with a lockable gate onto the main one. There is an outside tap for washing muddy paws. Parking is private and off-road, for five cars. Up to five dogs are allowed, and additional charges may apply.

It suits a family or two households travelling with dogs who want a separate annexe, with a door between the two.
