14 Fairways

14 Fairways is a lodge on the site of Brean Leisure Park, on the outskirts of Burnham-on-Sea. Everything is on one level. The living space is open plan, with a kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area that includes a sofa bed, and the kitchen has an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine and dishwasher.

Four bedrooms sleep eight: two king-size rooms and two twins. A family bathroom with a bath, a shower over it and a heated towel rail, and a shower room with a walk-in shower, both connect to the king-size bedrooms. A highchair and a travel cot are available. Gas central heating, WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are covered by the rent.

The driveway takes three cars, and the decking and seating look over the lake and the park. Brean Leisure Park around the lodge has an indoor gym and swimming pool, outdoor splash pools, a play area, golf, a theme park and go-karts, plus bars and restaurants. Contact the park directly about using the facilities next to the lodge before you rely on them. A pub is 0.1 miles away, a shop 0.5 miles and the beach 1.5 miles. Pets and smoking are not allowed, and a good housekeeping bond is payable.

Best for a family, or two couples with children, who want a self-contained base with a leisure park on the doorstep.
