Alcombe House

Alcombe House is a five-storey house in Minehead that sleeps 16 across eight bedrooms. Each bedroom has its own en-suite bathroom with bath, shower, basin and WC, so large groups are not queuing for one bathroom. The second floor has a super-king-size and two doubles, three more doubles are elsewhere in the house, and two twin rooms are on the third floor. A cloakroom on the first floor adds one more WC.

Downstairs the kitchen has two electric double ovens, a gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and a washing machine, and there is a separate dining room and a sitting room. The lower-ground-floor games room has a pool table and table tennis. There are two TVs and WiFi. Electric central heating is in the bedrooms and gas central heating on the ground floor, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included in the rent.

A front garden has furniture, and off-road parking takes seven cars. A highchair and travel cot are available on request. There are stairs throughout the house. Smoking is not allowed, and a good-housekeeping bond is payable. Pets are welcome, but the number isn't stated, so confirm it when booking. A shop is 0.2 miles away, a pub 0.1 miles and the beach 1 mile. It suits a multi-family gathering or a big group of friends who want each room to have its own bathroom.
