Little Owl Barn

Little Owl Barn is a barn conversion in Payton, about 2 miles from Wellington, with countryside views towards Wellington Monument. The pub is 0.7 miles away and the shop 0.8 miles.

The barn is built upside down. The bedrooms are on the entrance level: a king-size room with a beam overhead and an en-suite walk-in shower, and a twin room whose beds can be zipped into a queen-size on request. An extra single bed can also be made up on request. A family bathroom has a bath with a shower over, and the washer/dryer is kept there. Stairs lead up to the open-plan living space, with leather sofas, a kitchen with a Velux window, a dishwasher, an oven and hob and a dining area, and doors that open onto the garden. A Smart TV and WiFi are provided.

Dogs are the point here. Up to three well-behaved dogs are welcome, with a pet supplement, and they have a half-acre enclosed garden with a patio and lawn plus a separate half-acre paddock to use. Off-road parking takes up to five cars.

Oil central heating, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are covered by the rent. A good-housekeeping bond is payable, and smoking is not allowed.

It suits a family or a group of friends with a few dogs who want room to let them run.
