Homeland

Homeland is a detached house on a new-build estate in Somerton, spread over three floors for a large family or group. A central oak staircase rises from the entrance hall. Off it is a sitting room with an electric fire stove and a window seat. The ground floor also has a cloakroom and an open-plan space with a contemporary kitchen, a dining table, a second sitting area and a utility.

There are five bedrooms, each with a Smart TV: a king-size with an en-suite walk-in shower, a second king-size and a twin on the first floor, and two doubles on the second floor. The family bathroom has a bath and walk-in shower. A snug with a double sofa bed brings the total to 12 guests, and it needs to be arranged in advance. A highchair, travel cot and stair gate can be provided.

The kitchen has a gas oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher, plus 7 Smart TVs and WiFi across the house. Gas central heating, fuel and power, bed linen and towels are included.

The rear garden is enclosed, with lawn, furniture and a patio, and parking is off-road at the front and rear. The minimum stay is 3 nights, check-in is at 4pm, pets and smoking are not allowed, and a good-housekeeping bond is payable. The shop is 0.5 miles away and the pub 0.2 miles. It suits a large family or a group of friends sharing.
