Greenlawns

Greenlawns is a large house on a quiet road in Burnham-on-Sea, around two miles from the M5, Highbridge and the Burnham train station. It sleeps 15 in total: the main house has seven bedrooms spread over two floors, and a separate annexe upstairs holds a king-size bedroom with its own bathroom and an open-plan kitchen, dining and sitting area, sleeping two.

In the main house, a ground-floor double sits beside a shower room, and upstairs has a king-size room with an en-suite bath, three more king-size rooms, a twin and a single. Living space includes a kitchen/diner, a utility room, a sitting room with an open fire, a second sitting room with a woodburning stove and a snug with another stove. The kitchen has two electric ovens, an induction hob, a gas hob, two microwaves, two fridge/freezers, a washing machine and a dishwasher. Two travel cots, two highchairs and a stairgate can be provided, and there is a dog guard.

The enclosed back gardens have a lawn and a patio with a hot tub, barbecue and seating. Parking off the road is ample. Two well-behaved dogs are welcome. Smoking is not allowed, stag and hen parties are not accepted, and a 10pm noise curfew applies, with guests who break it liable to be asked to leave without a refund. Check-in is Friday only, for 7-night stays, strictly at 4pm, with check-out at 10am. A good housekeeping bond is payable, and guests should bring towels for the beach.

Best for several families or a big group of friends who want a hot tub, plenty of lounge space and a separate annexe for one couple.
