Chestnut

Chestnut is a single-storey cottage on the rural edge of Lympsham, sleeping four in two bedrooms that each have their own bathroom. The double has an en-suite walk-in shower with a basin and WC, and the twin has an en-suite bathroom with a bath, shower over, basin and WC.

The open-plan living space holds the kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area with an electric fire. Cooking is with an electric oven and hob, a microwave and a fridge, and a kettle and toaster are provided. Heating is electric central heating, and a TV and WiFi are included. Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are in the rent.

At the front is a non-enclosed lawn with a picnic bench. Two well-behaved pets are welcome, and off-road parking is for one car. The shop is 0.9 miles away, the pub 2.1 miles and the beach 3.4 miles. Brean is 4 miles from Lympsham and Weston-super-Mare 6, while Cheddar Gorge is 10 miles away. The village itself has a shop and a licensed cricket pavilion open to the public.

Smoking is not allowed and a good housekeeping bond is payable. It suits two couples or friends who want a private bathroom each, or a pair of adults with children and up to two pets.
