Ames House Barn is a single-storey barn conversion in a hamlet less than 2 miles from Bruton, and not far from Wincanton. It stands along a shared gated drive, next to the owner's own home, and has a private entrance. A Ring doorbell covers the shared driveway. Shops and pubs are 2 miles away.

The entrance opens into an open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining area with a Smart TV and double doors facing the fields. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a dishwasher, a microwave, a Bosch Tassimo coffee machine, an air fryer and a fridge with an ice compartment. The king-size bedroom leads straight off the living space and has rural views and an en-suite shower room with WC.

French doors at the back of the living space open to an enclosed terrace that wraps around the barn, with outdoor furniture and a private hot tub sized for two and not shared with other guests. Private off-road parking is for one car.

No dogs are allowed. Check-in is from 16:00 and check-out is before 10:00. It suits a couple who want a hot tub and a self-contained barn on one level, with shops and pubs 2 miles away.
